What are the 7 Chakras

- The root chakra (Muladhara) corresponds to the coccyx and survival energy (red), the one that anchors us to the vitality of the nurturing mother.

- The Sacred chakra (Svadishana) is located towards the sacrum/pubis above the sexual organs; it brings creative energy, speed, enthusiasm and sexuality.

- The solar plexus chakra (Manipura) is that of physical energy and tonicity (yellow). It is located above the epigastric plexus.

- The heart chakra (Anahata) is that of emotions and passions (green). It is located in the frontal zone between the two nipples, and between the two shoulder blades in the dorsal region.

- The throat chakra (Vishudda) is that of communication, speech and reflection.

- The frontal or third eye chakra (Ajna) is located between the eyebrows. It is related to knowledge, knowledge, analysis and intuition (dark blue). The brain is undoubtedly the most powerful energy centre of our body: for an adult whose need is 230 grams of glucose per day, 130 grams are in fact devoted to the sole work of our brain.

- The coronal chakra or top of the skull (Sahasrana) is that of spirituality, a kind of intellectual nirvana (mauve). It includes an internal link that brings it back to the celestial heart.
